Meet Babushka! This gorgeous seal point Siamese girl may have had a rough start in life, but she hasn’t let the world harden her heart. After being abandoned and found emaciated on the streets, she was brought to a shelter and scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, her finders refused to give up on her, and our rescue was able to scoop her up with just a few hours to spare. Now, this sweet senior is ready to leave survival behind and enjoy the soft, love-filled life she deserves!
With her eager purrs and endless affection, Babushka will greet you with cheek rubs and make you feel like the most important person in her kingdom! She carries herself with a dignified air, but she has a playful, frisky side too! Just don’t expect her to chase a toy across the room when she could be playing from the comfort of her favorite spot. Her antics are sure to make you laugh. Above all, Babushka is an easygoing companion who loves to nap, snuggle, and graciously receive visitors from her favorite chair (aka her throne). She’s a simple girl with simple wishes: a cozy spot, a loving companion, and plenty of affection.
As a senior lady, Babushka does have a few health needs. She needed to have all her teeth removed when she first arrived in our care, but that hasn’t stopped her from enjoying her dry food! She also takes daily medication to manage a gastrointestinal issue that our vet is monitoring. The good news is that she’s been thriving in her foster home, steadily gaining weight and energy, and her vet is optimistic about her progress. With her medical needs being managed, she’s ready to find a forever home of her own.
Babushka would love a peaceful home where she can reign supreme. She’s tolerant of other animals but isn’t particularly fond of too much commotion or having to share her kingdom with lots of furry subjects. A calm home with another senior pet may suit her just fine, but she’d also be perfectly happy as the sole recipient of someone’s love and adoration. Babushka has been through enough adventures for one lifetime; now she’s ready for a cozy throne, a devoted subject, and the royal retirement she deserves!
All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.
Young kittens must be adopted in pairs or into a home with a resident cat. Rare exceptions are considered based on the individual kitten’s needs and temperament.
