Meet Monkey Bread, a gorgeous long-haired tabby boy with a ridiculously fluffy, soft coat and a wonderfully round little body. We always say Monkey Bread does things very “roundly” — whether he’s tumbling across the room, flopping over belly-up with his beans in the air, or rolling around with his favorite toys.
This little guy was found as a stray in a backyard garden, but quickly discovered that being a pampered indoor kitty is a pretty sweet life. He adores his resident cat friends, and has been learning from them that humans can be pretty great. After seeing them enjoying human attention, he even started purring himself!
Monkey Bread firmly believes that anything can be a toy! Wands, balls, mice, springs, butterfly toys, a piece of lint — you name it, and Monkey Bread is ready to monkey around with it! He’s happiest playing with other kitties or chasing his favorite cat dancer toy, although he’s no stranger to a good all-day snooze when the mood strikes. When he’s feeling cuddly, he loves curling up around your neck like a scarf or chilling on your chest. He’s not much of a lap cat — he has far too many important kitten activities to attend to — but he’s becoming more affectionate every day.
He’d do fantastically in a home with another playful young cat, or would be thrilled to be adopted together with his foster bestie Arthur, whom he loves to romp around with. Because he’s still building confidence with people, Monkey Bread probably wouldn’t do well with rambunctious young children. He doesn’t need a super quiet home, but he does need people who will respect his boundaries and let him blossom at his own pace.
Monkey Bread is a silly little angel who has come such a long way from that backyard garden. He’s fluffy, round, playful, endlessly entertaining, and discovering more and more every day that being loved is pretty wonderful.
All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.
Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.
